MJOLNIR armor for me. Though N7 come pretty damn close, I just have that Halo fanboy in me, excuse me I'm back to Halo 3 (not reach)

The suit of holy ceramite casts all others in its shadow.

The fact that the other suits could all fit inside it notwithstanding.

(everyone knows SC marines wear a toned down version of warhammer armor.)

I'll second the SC2 powered armor. WH40k suit a close second, it's got a little too much extra frill making it a bit less practical then the SC version.

Regardless of how advanced the suits/armors are you're still a human being. Even if your suit of armor is made of woven Chuck Norris chest hairs and is indestructible then a sufficiently strong impact will make you lose consciousness. The only way to avoid it is to increase the suit mass and it's inertia along with it, decreasing mobility, making the operator an even easier target in the first place.

The metroid suit with it's neon colors makes you a great target. The glowy bits on the N7 make you a great target at night too!

Anything that prevents you from getting shot in the first place is good. Nanosuit's mobility, awareness and cloak make it a winner, no contest.

interesting lineup, i imagine the nanosuit is the most advanced in terms of tactical options, however it's probably the most squishy aswell

based on what i see here, i think i'd pick the imperial power armour purely because if someone in a nano-suit tried to stealth-kill me he'd have a face full of hmg goodness or just be crushed like a bug i mean the damn thing has jaws of life for fingers for cryi'n out loud

the only suit to top this list has to be the iron-man suit, purely because it can fly as fast as a sonic jet and has ranged energy-weapons, and still has full plate armour unlike the fibre based nano-suit, or the body armour suits like n7, and halo armour

Being a huge W40K fan, but also having played through the Crysis series a few too many times, it´'s a toss-up between agility and sheer mass... Although, if the lore is to be believed, a Space Marine in Power armour is just as agile as Nomad/Alcatraz in a nano-suit...
Also, it has a full range of auto-senses (basically a full suit of artificial perfect senses), it can pump pain-killers into you at a crazy rate in case of injuries, enhances strengh, speed, toughness and endurance, all at once... So based on this, probably the Imperial Power Armour... And both suits are symbiotic to a degree (Space Marines have their Black Carapace, as well as the whole super-human thing going for them, the nanosuits pretty much fuse with their wearers over time)... Argh, tough choice, but in the end, power armour...
Only advantage of the nano-suit is that it is built and designed around relatively ordinary humans..

Best Regards :)

EDIT:
Also, this... Grey Knights are awesome, although I'm still rooting for the way-too-ordinary Ultramarines.. Uriel Ventris FTW!

Why would a nanosuit operator try to kill you if he can avoid you altogether?

And if you don't know what this is, you've missed out.

Hooooly crap I remember playing this game as a kid year and years ago. That was some fun stuff back in the day.
But of what is listed here so far... I think I'm going to have to go with this...

Could have posted earlier but searches like these yield plenty of mesmerizing results.

Really thought. I want to say Iron Man's suit. Been a massive fan of that since well always.

Holy shit I remember that game. I think I played it because i was broke college student or possibly a broke high school student. It was an FPS. The badguys were called 'soggies' or something.

Power armour. I'm an IMMENSE WH 40K nutjob, so it would have to be this.

But I'd agree with the previous posts about Grey Knight armour.
On tabletop, I collect both Ultramarines and Grey Knights and I have to say I think that the Knights look undeniably cooler. (possibly because almost every single unit is clad in Terminator armour... :p )

Why would a nanosuit operator try to kill you if he can avoid you altogether?

the nano-suit cannot survive falls of more than about 2 floors unless you impact something to dampen the fall, cannot take punches to the face ( from normal people ) small arms fire and is eaten alive by sniper and hmg rounds and is crippled entirely by tazers because the electrical impulses that control it constrict the microfibres and crush the occupier
all of those examples are cannon in the games so-far

i do not see this as a stable weapons platform

sure, a nano-suit operator can sneak past you if you are not paying attention but to what end?
killing someone in their sleep when they take off their armour is hardly an indication that you have the better equipment
that's just following the art of war mantra of the only way to win the fight is to avoid it

Give me the Mauler/Fencer Elite armor from Valkyria Chronicles 2 any day man. Tank shells? Meh, only the kinetic force of it will hurt me. Bullets? HAH, they bounce off like skittles! Blasts from a Valkyrian Lance? Might leave me with quite the bad bruise/shatter a bone, but I'll be fine...

Well, of the options given though, I'd probably go with the Nanosuit, just because of the stealth capability...

Sure, but if anything being in a gigantic heavy set of armor would only lessen your chances of survival. Surviving a fall is all about dissipating the energy over the longest time possible. The nanosuit is in this regard the best armor of all, consisting of synthetic muscle and not being very heavy.

The key would be the ratio of the strength of synthetic muscles/servos to the suit's weight. The higher it is, the higher your chances of surviving a long fall.

And sure, the nanosuit is vulnerable to small arms fire but if a suit of armor has enough armor to become fully invulnerable to it then it's still vulnerable to anti-tank weaponry and explosives while losing a lot of mobility.
