Halo, just because the forge feature is so user-friendly, and it allows me to avoid the whole "8-year-olds-calling-each-other-noobs-and-the-40-year-old-creepers-that-like-them" online matchmaking and head straight to making custom games where I only invite friends and friends of friends.
On the List: TF2 is better than them all. I find the fact that shadowrun is on the list a little disturbing. It had a great concept, and some nice features, but just didn't pull through as a great game to me. Probably because of Games for Windows Live. That was such a hassle to get working.
On a related note: Either Counter-Strike, or if mods were to count, Insurgency.

DotA, though i've just gotten Demigod, so it might take the gold away from the WC3 mod.
I also like BF2
Haven't played any of the game son your list, but when i have to get myself another multiplayer game i'd prolly go for TF2 or L4D. Heard sooo much good stuff about those 2.

I don't know how many hours I've lost to that game, it's almost the perfect local multipayer game. Easy to pick, difficult to master, punishes button mashers ruthlessly.
