For me it'd have to be the Boomer. It's just a perfect idea; it's cool, funny, gross, and deeply unsettleing all at the same time, a perfect match for the overall mood of the Left 4 Dead games. What's yours and why?

The Jockey. Jump on a survivor during the Hotel act of Dead centre, and you can make them fall off the roof. Ok, so it may kill you, but, unlike the Survivors, you can respawn.

Spitter is my personal favourite. Hunter is second favourite, with Boomer third.

Tank for moi. The battles are always really tense, and extremely satisfying.

And you can always just toss a molotov and do your best Benny hill impersonation.

Witch. I like enemies that don't automatically attack you. More interesting.

And Boomer. Because blind survivors have this awesome habit of not noticing that their teammates have been pounced/smokered.
