I think Irish is pretty awesome to listen to, although the few Irish guys I know I have a hard time understanding them sometimes. I think the Northern accent is a little harder to understand, at least in my experience, because a former teacher at my school was from N. Ireland and he spoke super fast all the time.
One of my other teachers was from Southern Ireland and it was amazing to hear the difference between the two of them.
Never really heard an Irish accent from a woman before, unless you count early episodes of Fiona on Burn Notice. My favorite Irish accents are the Boondock Saints though. I might have kind of a man-crush on them...

Russian and German accents sound badass so there is no contest, unfortunately they weren't on the list so I voted British...
Also women with Swedish accents are awesome but women with French accents are incredibly seductive so take your pick.
Also I would like to nominate my own accent (American) for most "Boring & Generic", but then again when I speak Spanish my accent slightly changes, so I have options.

Wow, someone's gotta tell England that they're winning this poll, because I don't think they'll believe it otherwise.
I'm sure some other smart-arse has pointed this out, but Scotland is part of Britain, so I'm assuming you mean 'English' accent. Also an interesting concept, because England has more noticeably different accents than any other English-speaking country.
I picked Australian, because I have a heck of a lot of accent pride.
Having said that, I'm pretty much a fan of all accents except generic English or generic American. I feel bad for saying that, but I find those accents uninteresting, and the generic English accent sounds really whiny, I find.
And luckily most people aren't of your opinion. I've yet to meet a person in England who doesn't love my accent.

aussie, irish or s african if it was on the poll (i saw someone suggest that, and theres a couple of s africans in my school, and its a pretty cool accent)
And you've just opened that can a little further (/jk). Broadly, there's Northern Irish and Eire. Both are indeed Irish, but sound quite different from each other.GLo Jones said:

It's the easiest dialect and accent to understand, as most people here speak clearly and don't stutter alot when we talk.
For sheer badass-ness, I'd go with German. In all of the WW2 movies, they're all like "Vee have Vays of making you talk."

Im glad to see that the brits are up top since i am one.... but i have to say eastern american is the sexiest accent for girls.
