Broken Steel, ironically enough, fixed alot of the game's flaws, and I liked the big scale of the fighting. Point Lookout was an awesome environment, but having to pump 20 bullets into a dumbass tribal killed the immersion for me. It did have one of the most unique sections of video game I'd ever played. I really liked the Pitt, but I can understand why some people would hate it.

I really liked Point Lookout for the story and how it felt like a little swampy version of the capital wasteland, but for my favorite I gotta go with Broken Steel because of the level cap being increased and even moreso for fixing the ending.

Wow. No love for The Pitt? I honestly thought the Pitt was better than the actual vanilla version of 3. I'd definitely pay for a Fallout based in the Pitt, with expanded locale, deeper story and exposition on the Scourge 'n stuff. Perhaps a prequel to the events of The Pitt smack dab in the middle of the Scourge, fighting of the Brotherhood, wildmen, Trogs, etc.

Broken Steel. Made the game what it should've been from the get go. Fixed the ending, raised the level cap, added content to make things more challenging even at high levels...well, until about Lv25 or so, at which point it becomes a cakewalk again.

For depth of content, however, I like The Pitt---it's very obvious that someone at Bethesda loved Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome as much as I did.

Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta were insultingly bad. The Pitt was ok. Broken Steel and Point Lookout were good.

My favourite will always be Point Lookout. Huge area to explore, great setting, funny storyline, more play time.

I have all content but Lookout is my favourite one. But Broken Steel is also awesome as it allows you to play for much longer.

I would probably have to say Point Lookout. I loved the whole pseudo-Lovecraftian sort of feel it had. The locale was a massive change in aesthetics, the story was interesting and the lever-action 10mm rifle and the double barrelled shotgun are probably two of my favourite weapons.

I have to say The Pitt. For all the cool things that the other expansions provide, The Pitt draws me in for two major reasons. First, OH BELOVED AMMO PRESS! And two... this expansion has arguably the best storyline out of any quest in the entire game and what I consider the most compelling and grey moral choice I have ever encountered in any game.
I'd say this, but it's shortness stops it from being truly awesome. I'd have to go with Point Lookout, mostly because of the whole new area to explore bit.

Operation Anchorage as it was a break in the core game play mechanics, rather than the rest which I felt were more of the same, just in a new area (not that I think this is a bad thing).

But I think this has a fair bit to do with the way I play games. If I start a different game it is very unlikely I will go back the previous game (except for new DLC), so to play something different for a little while while remain within the same world broke the game up nicely.

In order of preference:
- Broken Steel (You get to continue after where you normally would die, the level cap is increased to 30 and enables some good perks and I get to see Liberty Prime blow some more shit up)

- Operation: Anchorage (Only because it nets me the Chinese Stealth Armor and can get you unbreakable items if you use the Gary 23 glitch)

- Mothership Zeta (Plenty of neat weapons and ammo, plus some Alien Power Cells. I absolutely loved the bit where you get to...
...shoot down a hostile alien ship. That was epic.)

- The Pitt (decent overall, got confusing at one point and has some great loot, but that's only if you can be arsed looking for all 100 steel ingots. Christ, that was a pain. Thank God there's a mod for the PC version that makes them glow bright blue so I didn't have to pull up a walkthrough for it again after my computer was formatted)

- Point Lookout (Ridiculously overpowered enemies, not much loot and it was pretty underwhelming to me. The highlight for me was the Mother Punga, that part was hilarious.)

I like Broken Steel best. It adds a new level cap, new perks and a great extention to the main story.

Operation Anchorage was pretty good, but the stealth armor you get at the end of it was amazing.
Mother-ship Zeta was a piece of shit: it took everything that made Fallout 3 good and shoved it in boar feces.
I've heard good things about Point Lookout, so I think i'll try that next.

Let's see...Anchorage.

Unbreakable armor that's also the best in the game and a stealth suit.
