Poll: Favourite Genre

Everybody, no matter how much they deny it, have a favourite game genre.

Adventure games! definetly my favorites followed by Racers and I like RPGs too although never bother to finish them but definetly adventure games because I love Zeld it was the game that got me into gaming and is the game that made me stay.

It is impossible for this one to have a favourite game genre.
None can over-ride the others. They are simply equals.
I can like some less than my favourites, but no single genre can be more important.
I like: Shooter, Strategy, RPGs, Action Adventure, and probably others...

Nope, I honestly don't have one. I'm sorry, but I don't. I'll play pretty much anything at all, as long as it's good. Except Guitar Hero type games, but that's because I'm terrible at them.

Same, except I just don't really enjoy guitar hero games.

I'm going to go with RPG's. I do enjoy screwing with a game, and no game is better for screwing with that an RPG. Shooters are ok, but not great.

Well, I left out my favourite, Stealth, but i also like the RPG side of things where you can kill everyone and still play the game (unless they tell you to kill tenpenny and you did so 5 hours ago)
I also can't go past a good DMC-ish game

I'll play just about every single type of game ('cept sports. I absolutely detest sport games to the highest degree.) But Action Adventure games, notably the first and one of the best I ever played being Prince of Persia Sands of Time, always have a soft spot in my heart.

I only really have genres I avoid, such as the JRPG, or the MMO.

I'm not big on sports games either, unless I have some friends to play with or they're the arcade "Blitz" style ones. Ditto for racing games, even though I'm good at them, for some reason.

Other then those, I'll give just about anything a go.

My two favorite games series are Legend of Zelda and Tomb Raider, so I say action adventure by default. I do like RPG's though.
