WW2 titles have effected both the FPS on RTS genres. They have made up a huge chunk of our lives and are now slipping away as everyone has basically grown tired of them. The latest BiA seems to be the last we may hear of them in a while. Here are the main top selling and contrubuting WW2 titles over the years:
CoD. 1, Big red one and 2 have graced our screens and hearts with it's change from the usual MoH shoot 'em up. It is more realistic and delves deeper into the lives and tragedy of the war moreso then MoH ever did. It shows many different prespectives of the war through the Brits and Russians as well as the Americans.
MoH. The longest running series out of all. They basically started the WW2 FPS phase and are still going to this day. MoH has shown many different positions of the war all through the Amerian's eyes. From the beaches of Normandy to the tropical islands of the pasific (with the Aussies and everyone else missing strangly) and to it's newest prespective, through the eys of a paratrooper.
BiA. A more tactical approch to the FPS genre in WW2. You control a small squad of men who you share emotions and lives with. When they die it is a tragic and tear-filled experience. Only to have some unseen Necromancer revive them in the next battle. The latest BiA looks like eye candy and a true treat the the WW2 FPS fan.
HoV. Uh, yeah.
