I haven't become jaded with the site, because the site is more than the forums. As you might be able to see from below my avatar, I've been here a while, but haven't said much. I've watched big names in the forums rise and fall (hard), I've seen what feels like every kind of thread, each possibly more than three times, but at the end of the day, if I feel like the forums are a bit uninspiring, I'll go and watch some videos (or re-watch old favourites), read some reviews and articles, do some quizzes etc. With the kind of quality content you get here in the Escapist as a magazine, I think it's hard to really get jaded. =) Sometimes you need a holiday from the forums, but the site itself never really gets old.

I'm alright, I hit 'the wall' a few months back during a pretty tough time, but I'm back now and still going strong. I just hold true to the idea that this site has a sort of natural equilibrium - that for every godawful, ill-thought out, grammar-shat-on flame-fest that is vomited all over the Off-Topic section, its antithesis will soon come about and provide a safe haven for debate, comedy and intelligent discussion.

All is good :)

I'm really tired of the old veterans with 7000+ posts who are always the first ones to post but never say anything, it's usually an insult or something that doesn't contribute to the conversation. I'm not naming names, you know who you are.

I hear people whining about a lack of originality but whenever I make post that I'm 100% sure hasn't been made before I never get past one page worth of posts, just saying.
