I started to lose interest around the time of the March Mayhem debacle. Nice to see some old names on here though, I beleive I came to the aid of Sober Thal more than once to smite trolls aplenty.

My disinterest and lack of involvement in the scapist forums is less to do with who is posting and what is being posted and more to do with lack of good games to discuss. This is a gaming forum afterall, and the very reason I came here was to discuss/defend the games I loved. Maybe I'll return to fanboying when something good comes out to get me back into the hobby again.

How about before the great Zynga horde, that was two years ago if I remember, my mind ain't what it used to be.

The great 09' troll raid was a pretty defining event as well.
They came by the hundreds, spewing flames.
They were everywhere and nowhere at once.
For a single night we stood fast, reporting and moving on.
And by morning, all the trolls were slain, but there was not a single loss on our side.
'Twas a glorious thing.

I believe it was morning for me, but yeah.

I feel like I'm an Old'scapist but my posts are less juvenile and inane than they use to be.

I'm not Kane, but I used to be that guy whos speaking first. My old Escapists name was off him, spelled a bit differently. But based off him.

I'm oldguard, the shadow paladin, the great deceiver and warmaster of ponydom. I have been on the lines since ages past. I bore witness when Maxthereaper was felled. I witnessed many other giants fall as well.
I was but a soldier back than, now a warmaster. But I'll tell you all one thing. It was hell back than, your all blinded by nostalgia and past heroes. All we can do is press on in hopes of forging a better future. So as long as I stand I will not allow us to fall to the past, if the heroes of than wish to aid those who want what I do than fine, but you know where I stand.
