just out of random curiosity....

for ME3 did you use a custom femshep you lovingly crafted yourself? OR did you go with the new "default"? (for femshep players only..duuhh)

Personally I went with the default, because I liked the Idea of a femshep having her "own" look that actually looked good from most angles

Considering that the deafault female Shepard looks like a plastic surgery botch job...

I imported my Shepard's face that I painstakingly created.

Seriously, the default Shepard looks nothing like she does on the boxart :D

The new one looked like the victim of a tragic accident involving a shovel and a bucket of botox.

I just went with my imported Shepard.

In the promotional imagery I thought the new FemShep looked alright.
But when I actually saw her in-game, ugh.

So I modified it a bit, and made a few tweaks here and there.

[sub]Dr Steinman: You know, looking at her now... I didn't realize how much her face sags... Nurse! Scalpel! ...[/sub]
ohhhhh...kay then

I honestly thought she looked pretty good, actaully better than the boxart

I mean the boxart makes her look a little young, I thourght what we got in game looked right, age wise and everyhting

that and I really really suck at creating my own...hahaha yeah...you start feeling a little like dr steinman after a few trys trying to get it right

Have one more:

In-game FemShep looks like a female, fat-faced version of Sideshow Bob.

Addendum: So yeah, I stuck with the chocolate goddess of violence that I lovingly spent several hours (seriously) creating way back in the first game.

My FemShep was basically the default one anyways.
Admittedly, largely because I couldn't make a decent face using the CC, and the better hair options in the game weren't up for use.
One of ym 'non-canon' (yes I know) FemSheps was again, basically the default but paler and with black hair, but...

... yeah, you know how ME3 fucks up the face imports?
I went with the new default.

I would just like to say that despite ME3 messing up my imported Shepard's face, I was able to make him in to one damn handsome looking dude.

Yes, I know we're supposed to be talking about FemShep but damn it, I felt so excluded.

I made my own when I first started ME1, and haven't ever played with another face model. I'm happy with it.

Actually I copied my code from ME2 down and put it into ME3. It actually came out looking really nice. I was very happy with it. ^_^

Here we go...

That's her. Faye Shepard. I love her. The picture's not so awesome because to get I had to hold my entire laptop up to the screen of my TV to get take a picture with the computer's built-in webcam.

Still though I think she's beautiful and badass all at the same time.

While I like how the new default FemShep looks, I stuck with my own, Miss Roslyn Shepard:
I imported her as-is from ME1 to ME2, and thanks to ME3s new Character Creator, she got changed up a bit on the way over. The only thing I changed however was her hair and eye color, which for some reason on the way over got turned to blond and green respectively.

Indeed, what completely disappointed in what she looked like, in the box art she looks awesome but in game, holy fuck that was horrifying.

I gave her a skinhead military look. Seemed a bit more fitting.
So did I. Then she ended up looking a whole lot like Jack, just minus the tattoos.

I use one that I lovingly created.

Nothing against the default, though I don't quite like the ME3 default femshep, I just prefer using my own Shepard instead.

Custom Shepard all 3 games, tried the demo and it was just too weird with the voice and the wrong face...
New default is ok but it's just not my commander shepard.

Nice mousey features. Looks pretty cool.

OT: I always make my own faces when I play games that allow me to so, no I didn't use the default.

You know aging works differently in the Mass Effect universe right? Kahlee Sanders for example is in her forties, and looks like she's in her twenties. So ME characters can't look too young.

OT: Mostly imported from ME1/2, though I had to change the hair. Ginger hair imports to blond for some reason, so I had to change that. And, same opinion as mostly everyone here: Default shep face looks nothing like it does in the advertising, it looks bad.
