Something I've been wondering for a while. I always assumed that beat-em-ups were played predominantly on the PS3, but recently, especially on YouTube, I've noticed that quite a lot of people play them on the 360. Also, the FightSticks cost more for 360, and there are more pre-orders for MVC3 on Amazon for 360 than PS3.
Question Time: Which platform has a higher frequency of people playing fighting games at a serious level, and is the better platform for the genre?
P.S. This makes no difference to me, as I already have SSF4, BB:CS and Tekken 6 on PS3. I'm just curious, is all.
P.P.S. A "Serious Level" means plays them often and is reasonably proficient with at least one character. Enough to be a challenge on VS.
