So the question is easy, but intro first...
I mostly play single player games on 360 and PS3 on holidays, because it's my brother's console so it's in hometown... anyway. Most of the time I play on the single player campaign because that's how I roll(even in sports games).. then sometimes I play with friends or brothers or cousing in the same place, you know "classic multiplayer". But there comes the time when I'm curious and explore the multiplayer lobby and I play an hour or so. There are some game that are definitely better online even if you are playing in campaign Like Left4Dead 1 and 2... the experience change drastically at first you are the "n00b" that tries so hard and later u are "that guy", the guy doesn't stop you and help you when u are in trouble, suddenly the great experience disappears, because someone joined the game and shot at you and killed you... why? because he is a M"#$@ F#%^$ and when your partner is going to heal you the M&@%#! F#%^$! shots him too, again because he is what he is... Oh You can't kick him out because the other guy is a friend or guest so they put NO.

Anyway one of those times the M&@%#! F#%^$! talks and it turns out it was a 10 year old (I assume) and start telling to the other guy who was going to help me "gay" and things like that... you know. So that's the only way you can file a complaint on xbox(yes i read the rules for that). So that was my first time I "filed a complaint" so I asked in other forums if that really works? they told me that it really does, but is not a fast process, because they have to prove it.

So, I am here at the Escapist for some time and I have read that there are lots of those guys on xbox and Psn.... So why not filing a complaint? Do you file complaints or just rage quit?

If my grammar is not great is because english is not my first language, believe me I try.

ALMOST FORGOT.... I highly recommend Dungeon Siege 3

I have, on rare occasions. I'm not normally the type to do it, but some people go above and beyond.

The only complaints I've ever filed were against a tutor at university for misconduct and negligent teaching. When it comes to gaming, I don't game online very often at all, and when I end up with someone like that, I leave the game and come back later with different players. Why should I care if he thinks I'm a quitter or something? It's no problem for me to just find somewhere else to play which is nicer.

It's like being in primary school. When someone decided they wanted to be in the area of the playground I was in, I just went to another area of the playground. No point in telling the teachers about something so trivial.

Depends what game you're talking about, but in some games rage-quitters and poor team players really do ruin the experience (for example, Xbox Live Catan - "looks like I'm not going to win, time for me to quit the game! Dohohohoho").

Guys like that, I send a swift negative review. It keeps them off my matchup list and takes their Rep down, if anybody cares about that.

I have a couple times on Xbox but most of the time I just ignore it. L4D is really bad for people like that though, since all it takes is two buddies trolling you to ruin a game.

On PC though I will report griefers and such to server admins or where ever. Especially in Minecraft, if someone is a pain I am not going to just up and leave, too much work put in on servers to just ditch.

Well, I'm glad most of the people complains because that is probably the best way to have a great community

I don't play games online anymore, but back when I did I think the only games I reported people in were MMOs. So I guess to answer your question: yes.
