Poll: Final Fantasy on PSP?

I've finally managed to get my PSP online and was absolutely delighted to see VII available for download.

No seriously, it gave me an erection.

Moving on... Now I can't find anything on this, but has anyone heard/think that VIII will become available on PSN? Because that would be, if you'll excuse my fondness for the vernacular, completely fucking sweet.

Yeah well, FF7 on PSN is awesome, but they should get a kick behind and put 8 and 9 out there as well. I never got to finish 9 completely, so id love that.

I played VII the longest and that had the best combat system (materia) but I liked the environment and characters in IX more.

I haven't actually played all of the Final Fantasies, and only finished one of them. Clocked in massive hours on VIII and XII and finished X (which may be my favorite at the moment).

Yeah already got it. I find that ANY flaws with the game are plastered over by nostalgia. Yeah, I'm fanboy scum... but I'm okay with it.

FFVII. I played it as a kid, and thus I have really, really sweet memories of it.

It's also the longest, and to me, the most likeable and interesting of 'em all.

I wouldn't mind seeing more RPG's show up on the PSN. I don't care about 8, but I'd certainly purchase 9, and I'd love to see legened of Dragoon, vagrant story, and xenogears show up. I put down FF7 recently though to play Blood Omen and Suikoden, which are awesome as you should certainly get them.

It's VIII for me all the way, it's the first one I played when I was... tennish? First game I played with such an in-depth plot.

I usually find when I talk to people about it that it's between VII and VIII, and usually it's the one you played first. Plus Squall was an arrogant, sullen little twat- I related to that.

OT: I'd love to see VIII and IX on there, but iirc they both use the R2 and L2 buttons which the PSP doesn't have, which may cause problems.

dissidia is my favorite i wish it was totally downloadable. i havent really played the actual final fantasy games (ive played crystal chronicles, tactics, dissidia) only part of some of them and i never really got into it. ive heard VII is good tho so i wanna get it now that its on psn

That Necron thing can go fuck off! It has absolutly nothing to do with the story. Plus it's too hard.

^IX is very good, alongside VIII, I think they're both better than VII. WHich I'll probably get flamed for, but who cares. I agree the final boss was a piss take though. Even at a really high level he was still tough.

Love custom firmware for the pure fact I can put any ps game on my psp from it's game disk. Consequently I've already got VII, VIII, and IX on my PSP. Along with some other RPG's like both Persona 2's, Xenogears, etc.

I think X is probably my favourite, can't really explain why.
