Firefox by far, i find IE to annoying to use anymore. Plus it has a nice interface. Might also have a look at chrome, especially on my netbook.

Firefox works better for me when I'm on a PC. Right now I'm on my Mac using Safari, which is what I prefer for Macs, but I haven't tried Chrome yet.

A few years ago I'd say definitely firefox. Now, there is nothing wrong with trying it, but the people saying it's ungodly better haven't noticed the changes over the years.
Firefox has gotten more and more bloated as more people become interested in it. It hogs memory, takes forever to start up, and isn't even as secure as it used to be thanks to its popularity.

If you use Internet Explorer 8 you should be okay. I personally use Google Chrome for its speed.

Righ this second im using firefox and it is extremely fast compared to my Explorer and also in college, their explorer bans websites and things, but if we use Firefox we can access any website (great for sitting on the Escapist when we are meant to be working ;p)

The Firefox and Explorer war will ALSO never be resolved. It's a 'six in one, half a dozen in the other' deal, in reality. There isn't anything wrong with either of them, probably. I personally find Firefox to be a bit slow. My brother tells me that's for stability, but I don't see it. Other people have problems with Explorer and I'm like "Not me, bro. Mine works fine." to them.

I say take a look at Opera. It's a very nice browser and I love it. But if you don't like it then get Firefox.
I use Firefox but mostly because of some of the perks firefox has beats the perks opera has.
Custom search bars being placed anywhere is one thing I miss..

ive had crashes with both but i have to say firefox is a lot more reliable and has a better interface imo. i used to not see the point but i got converted so believe me try it.

I started using firefox because it had tabbed browsing. Then IE had tabbed browsing too, but by then I had already grown accustomed to the look of firefox. Just try it, and see which one you feel more comfortable using.

Use Firefox. It is just like Internet Explorer, except good. I all seriousness, Mozilla has everything IE has, and more. One feature Firefox has that would be good for this site is that it comes with a built-in spell check. It helps me look intelligent!
