Poll: First Kiss.

14 years old, haven't had a real kiss yet.
I went on a date with a girl last year that I really liked but her mom walked in on the moment and kinda ruined it >_<
Other than that I'm fine with not having kissed anybody yet. It'll come at some point, and until then I'm just gonna go where life takes me.

Ah, it is the same with me. Except I can't agree or disagree with the last statement because I don't understand french.

I've sort of had my first kiss. My brother held a party when he turned 25 together with one of his friends that also turned 25. Everyone was pretty drunk and they had just started serving Gin&Tonic. This was the first time i drank Gin&Tonic so i asked my brother's friend to make one for me. She misunderstood what i said, loud music, and instead she grabbed me and kissed me square on the mouth.

Not that i'm complaining but that wasn't how i wanted to get my first kiss. My first kiss seem sort of ruined now :/

i remember, it was a few years back now - at a school disco
my friend tricked me and i ended up with a weird seductive temptress before i knew what was going on - aye, i remember it well, but by gosh was it a surprise, literally turned my head to look at this girl and BAM!

ill admit, there have been a few of these she devils who have tricked me so, the scumbags
but the worst, was one that took advantage of me when i was drunk as an empty glass of water, i wouldve known better had i not been impaired

I remember my first kiss very well, we were both eleven, sitting together nervous as heck.
We both leaned in and kissed, it was very sweet and cute.

During a movie. She was putting on lip thing (don't ask me to remember what it was) and I said: "Can I have a taste?" (I was a cocky prick). She said no and my mind went: "You dumb stupid moron!" Then she said: "Wel'll wait till we have more privacy." (The lights going off when the movie started). I missed alot of the movie because of kissing. But my on our first onen(neither of us had done it before) we both messed up and looked to each other and said: "We didn't do that right did we?" But then we got it to work. Tl;dr.

It doesn't say much seeing how there's only one girl who have ever won my interest, whom I don't know if likes me, and we're separated by a frickin' ocean and hundreds of miles...

I remember mine because it was a huge let-down. It wasn't necessarily a bad kiss as kisses go: I just somehow expected it to be climactic and it was really more this thought of "huh, guess I got that out of the way."

That and she gave me this look to the effect of "how the fuck has it taken you this long to have your first kiss" when I told her. I was 16, I didn't think I was THAT late to the party . . .

Well first proper kiss with tongue etc was when I was 15 I think, at my mates house party with some rather large girl. We were both mortal beyond belief. It wasn't particularly good, there was saliva all over the place...

Don't worry. I was in high school when I had my first, (though I don't recall whether it was my freshman or sophomore year). But I've kissed a lot of girls since then. After the first time, one way or the other, the frequency tends to increase a lot.

Ya im currently entering sophmore year. I entered high school not knowing anybody so that could be part of it but otherwise im a nice guy, i play hockey, take care of myself, and workout. Its all there but im just too damn scared to ask someone out i guess.

If that's the case, then you're on the fast track. I doubt you'd even have to do anything other than be at the right place at the right time.

Pretty much this. I had mine about a week ago, heh. No asking out involved, just bumped into eachother and it just, well... happened!

Not in the comical way though, I'm pretty sure it was intentional.

So, after all, is the first kiss memorable?
Mine was when i was 8, and i remember it like it was yesterday. Didn't really like it at that time.
I was too young to enjoy it to the fullest i guess.

What exactly is a "first kiss?"

Is it the first time you kissed anybody ever? Because I'm sure the truth of the matter for all of us would be relatives - people kiss babies and young children all the time as a form of play.

Maybe it's the first time you kissed someone outside your family? I'm sure the same "people like kissing babies" postulate applies here as well.

What about the first time you kissed someone of the opposite sex? As above, the same is still true, especially if you're a dude. Ladies do the most baby kissing I've ever seen. Also, it gets into homophobic territory for some people (likely more than anyone would think) who've been kissed by the same sex at an early age, because dad's like kissing their babies too.

So then, what's left? The first time you kissed someone, and liked it? That's the kind of specific memory that just doesn't leave so easily. For me, this would be the girl that played flute in 7th grade. She found out fast that the myth of "drummers are the best kissers" isn't true for first-timers. We were both really clumsy, but the sweetness was still there. Yeah, I remember it pretty well.
