Poll: Flight or Invisibility?

My teacher posed this question to my class. If you could choose your superpower, which one would you choose and why.
There are some ground rules to the powers of course.

Flight: You can fly up to 2000 mph, and as high as the atmosphere. You can only carry as much as you can now.
Invisibility: You feet will still make noise when you walk, and only what you are wearing can be invisible.

So, finally to me question, if you had a choice between these two powers which would you choose and why?

I just want to warn you, there is another superpower thread about half way down the page so your probably gonna be called for that. Also, why do I get the feeling that exactly the same thread has been posted before. Oh well!

I realize this, but this is a thread that I meant to do for awhile, and it actually is a look at the psychological aspect of why you want this power(at least for me). Which I'm not going to state as I want to see people too be more honest with their answer.

Flight is by far the better choice, if things you carried turned invisible too mabey that would be better because you could just mad steal stuff. I guess you could still steal stuff people would just wonder why all the money is floating away.

Logistics state that I pick flight. With camo you can make yourself seem invisible, so we got that pegged to the best of our abilities. Let me put it this way, of the two abilities we already have some skill in "invisibility" but almost no skill in flight. . .so taking flight would be the obvious choice.

Don't get me wrong though, pure invisibility would be fucking sweet too. lol!

What's the acceleration on the flight power?

0 to 2000 instantly? I would pick flight for quick escapes, but if it takes too long to get off the ground, it's useless. Levitation is a dumb superpower, in my mind.

Plus, I'd love to make badass escapes like Hancock.

Ha, just got a hilarious image in my mind of someone standing with their fist in the air yelling away, just to stand their for 3 minutes waiting for their flight ability to kick in.

To me any flight that doesn't tire you out the faster/further you go is cheating.

Invisibility every time. Cooler tricks, far more useful.

Flight sounds nice... but think about it, if you're invisible you can sneak into any plane unnoticed anyway.

So lets say you're flying at 2000mph a mile or two off the ground.

Wouldn't you freeze to death or die of oxygen starvation really quickly?

Also how painful would it be to fly into a bird at 2000mph? I mean you'd be going so fast you wouldn't have the eyesight or reflexes to avoid it (humans aren't evolved to move that quickly) & even a small bird would probably kill you. It's beak alone hitting you at 2000mph+ would be like a bullet.

I'd pick invisibility, as there would be less chance of getting a Darwin award.

Invisibility, Pervetness aside, its more fun to be able to walk in a crowd without getting noticed, and since I wanna be a super villan, it could help with theft and murder.

Though I would rather have the power of absoulot Charisma, who needs to kill your foe when you can make him kill himself, while you have sex with hiss girlfriend infrot of him.
