A very underrated and almost forgotten launch title for the PS3.

Mix Pokemon, and Psychonauts, with supernatural murder mystery plot set in rural Ireland.
This game has:
Comic book style visual narrative as well as fully rendered cutscenes,
Level concepts are based on the different perceptions of the afterlife rather than individual minds as per Psychonauts,
A compelling story told through two protagonists, with alternating POV.
Competent use of the PS3's Sixasis controllers,
Unique enemies based on traditional folklore
Hack/slash and puzzle based combat using the souls of your fallen enemies as weapons each varying in speed, power, range, and effect.*

Can be played with a friend, but is not CO-OP as both protagonists have to complete a different version of the same level individually to advance the plot.

I would love to see a ZP on this. Even if he trashes it.

*However, changing which souls you have equipped does cause a rather noticeable loading gap though, but you can have 4 at a time equipped it shouldn't come up too often once you know the correct combination to get past puzzle bosses and/or elemental barriers.

Discussion value?
Anyway, yes I've heard of it.
In fact, I own it and I've completed it a few times.
It has a great art direction, dark atmosphere and original story.
I love it.

I used to have Folklore, I loved the art-style, creature design and music.
Unfortunately I found the game itself to be very repetitive, I had all but completed Keats' side of the story but couldn't be bothered to go through the exact same levels with Ellen in order to see the ending.
It's a shame, the game had heaps of potential and is still bloody beautiful today, if they had added more depth to the combat, and included some puzzle solving and explorative elements it would have been a great game.

Also, there's no poll otion for Played it, liked it.
I can't say I loved it, but I certainly didn't hate it.

The art direction is fantastic but the gameplay left something to be desired...i ended up just using one attack the entire game because it was overpowered
