The only full album I have is Echoes, and there are several songs on there I love, whereas on other albums, it's just one or two that hold my attention.

They make good singles but their albums have been pretty disappointing. I have the entire discography.

Please excuse my trollishness.
I don't really like anything the Foo Fighters have made.

Sorry! D:
Ahem, i believe soundgarden was better. Dont bother arguing either cos youre wrong :).
Sound Garden isn't bad, I'll give you that. BUT IRRELEVANT. I brought up Nirvana because Dave Grohl was the drummer... And after Kurt R.I.P.d he started Foo Fighters. Also, Sound Garden didn't even get popular until Nirvana made grunge cool. So there! :sticks out tongue:

Besides, nothing tops 'Rape Me'. I mean, c'mon.

I love The Colour and the Shape, it's one of my favourite albums of all time, I love the way it it starts happy and gradually grows more melancholy. And it has Everlong.

Honourable mention for Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace however. It really is a damn fine album even though it didn't quite grab me at first.

OMG RLY!? Meeee!? :O

Now I'm going to copy & paste some shit so as not to get in trouble for derailing the shit out of this thread.

OT: Perfect albums ? those on which every song impinges on the listener in astonishing, edifying, delightful ways ? are so rare, they seem almost mythical. It's no secret that most of the truly life-changing records belong to another age ('60s, '70s, '80s, take your pick) ? a time when, as the saying goes, the music mattered. But every so often, a modern-day CD that reverberates with the conviction and artistry of bygone days comes along to blow a jaded mind or two.

Foo Fighter's latest album.... Blah blah blah.

At the risk of drawing everybody's fire, I think I'll bring Pearl Jam into this little debate.

Are we going to debate the big four here now? Soundgarden wins, they may not have had the commercial succes of peral jam or nirvana but musicaly it wasnt even close. :)
I'm not going to get into a huge argument about it. I just wanted to throw the name in so that they were represented. I like all three to a point, but I don't love them. They all did great stuff in the early 90s. But the former two didn't last long, and I don't really listen to much Pearl Jam other than Ten.

I like them a little. I love the song The Pretender, although I never realized they attack people by spraying them with tomato sauce.

'In your honour' So many hours spent listening to it while ignoring customers at K-mart.
