I was just wondering how many people play the Football Manager games. And to add a little more discussion value share your tactic tips and signing recommendations, which team you're currently managing.

What is the longest playtime you've had on one save?
What is your total playtime in the game as a whole?

On Football Manager 2012 I have a total playtime of 78.9hrs, 75 of those hours have come over the past 2 weeks(I'm shocked I've played it that much in two weeks.) I'm currently playing as Blackpool and I'm three quarters through the second season, I got them promoted into the premier league and currently lying in 9th place. From that save I can recommend Steed(Steeeeed) Malbranque as a good signing for any second division teams or mid table top division teams, and he's free.

Oh god no! I have a friend that plays that game on his laptop next to me in art class. It looks like a more boring version of Fifa.

Haha. If I didn't like it I'd probably say it was boring too. I'll admit it's not the most exciting game but it's addicting as hell once you get into it.

the price tag is keeping me away, if it goes on a steam sale 60% or above, i'll consider it, but until then, it seems pretty "meh"

a shade over 10 dollars, thanks for telling me about it, but of course when i say that, I don't have very much expendable cash right now -_-...fuck. It does look like some good addicting fun for anybody who likes football/soccer

No problem you're welcome. Sometimes it's addictiveness can be a curse, it makes the day fly by in an instant. I always say "one more match and I'm turning it off" of course that one more match turns into another just one more match, it's a vicious cycle.

I feel like those games are excruciatingly boring for people who don't avidly follow the actual sport. I do avidly follow the sport so I like FM but I could easily see how people would hate it.

oh yeah i can only imagine, the momentum of those kinds of games really makes it hard to put down, once you get in the flow, especially knowing all the stats/when your doing good, fuck...i've lost days to Civ5 doing that.
