Poll: Forms of Communication

My mother still writes letters to people all the time, even though she has a laptop and Outlook Express. I find this odd because I can't write three sentences in a letter because I'm not used to writing out long messages. I know this is the age of connection, but are there any people who still write letters, or even talk on the phone often? I PM because it is quick, simple, and not as annoying as texting.

EDIT: The point of this is asking which forms of communication besides talking are used the most.
