Poll: Forum Distraction

First for an explanation on what I am talking about. I turned on my laptop to play so Dragon Age Origins (playing through for the four hundred ninety seventh time). I figured I would check a couple gaming forums first to see if anything interesting is going on. One thing led to another and I realized I just spent two hours browsing forums and didn't even start up the game.

So my question for all you Escapists, have you ever been distracted from gaming by a gaming forum?

I've been distracted by this place... I've been distracted from playing TF2 and Starcraft, and I've been distracted from finishing Higurashi most recently... This site is too damned addictive!

I get distracted from a lot of things when I'm on here. I pop in just to check what's what and suddenly I find it hard to turn away.
Last night I had planned to start off the evening with a little homework, then play the last few missions of Prototype and then watch 'American History X'. Ended up on here for several hours.

Yes, but only if the game is a familiar one. When I'm hooked on a new game, there's not much that will break my concentration.

Most of the time I multi-task, so I'm both posting on the forum and playing games, but often times I put this place above gaming, so yeah, that counts as distracting.

Sometimes I mess around on these forums while I game. I'll pause the game if I come across a really good thread.

When I look back down at my controller, it has shut itself off. Yeah, this site distracts me a bit.

I'm constantly being distracted by this place. I'll get around to beating Mass Effect 2 one day!
