I remember something like this where someone was like
"I have added everyone on this thread to my friends list, science"
and then I told him how much I hated him,
as I clicked "befriend now"
^_^

OT:
are you feeling lonely on the escapist?
does someone need a hug?
*hugs you*
I need a hug...can I have a hug?

I never add people. One person added me, and I added them back, because I didn't want to be mean. I didn't know them though. I've thought of adding people, but I know that they'll say something like this:
"Who the hell are you? I've never seen you before. Why the fuck are you trying to be friends with me? Eww. Go away." Or else: "Yeah, I talked to you, I know, but I don't actually think of you as a friend. Just some random person I talked to. Bye bye now."

Is it bad when your internet self-esteem is lower than your real life self-esteem? I think it usually goes the other way, but I'm not sure...

I added a fair number of people during the first two weeks or so that I was on this website. Since then, I have slowed down alot and am in the process of trying to get to know some people. :)

Oh fuck I'm screwed. *hides behind the couch* Oh wow people are starting to realize I'm a girl. Before it was assumed I was a dude.
hmm,
I assumed you were a girl for a few reasons.
1.)Your name is unique(at least I havent seen it) and seems as though it means something to you.(most guys ive seen pick something like "haloroolz" or somthing dumb, or picks a name at random then sticks with it)
2.)your avatar is gorgeous, both from artistic and peotic standpoints, I have only seen one guy with a picture like this (but most girls pick one of these two:1.)the aforementioned, 2.)something "cutsey" from an idea they like)
3.)you mentioned you have sedetives of your own, that (plus your avatar) leads to the point that you may be a "punk/emo" type girl for reasons I would say but you would want to hit me if I did.

I assume what the evidence points to, but I get it wrong most of the time T_T
anyway, this was a fun adventure we went on ^_^
*adds you as friend*
remember,
be insane, have fun ^w^
I applaud you. I am punk but not emo. I take the sedatives for sleep and thank you for the friend request and the complement on my avy. Yea most Lizmichi's you see are me.... but some ***** took in on Twitter..... I will find her. PM me your reasons for thinking I;m punk/emo. I'll most likely laugh at them.

on this thread alone, I have added 7 friends.
the beauty of the internet is the ability to be yourself without constraint, because being anonymous replaces hiding behind your "emotional mask" by replacing it with an avatar ^_^.
irony is present, but the point remains valid
so I added you as a friend, and I have a challenge for you,
go on ten random topics, add ten random people, and send them a message that you like thier avatar and ideas on the topic you saw them on
or else no internet ninja-robot w/tenicle hug for you
(thats from an earlier post of mine)

Oh, I know all about the ninja-robot tentacle hugs.

...Do you count as one of the ten? If I send you a PM, I mean?

If someone makes a good point in a topic or is actually debating with me in a peaceful, yet aggressively enough to get their point across, yes, I do friend them.

A lot of people have friended me for reasons I don't know, but when some go out of their way to actually message me with why they are friending me, I usually respond and accept.

As well as that, when I friend, I always send a message. I find it to be very polite, and the person gets to know me just a tiny bit more.

Building a friends list on a message site is a lot slower process for me than it is in most games, but that's mostly the nature of the beast. You add a friend here, you don't add a friend here, not really that big a difference, you can still keep up with them and reply to their posts. Multiplayer games without a friends list? Suck city.

hmmm,

(I count as one ^_^)

I have a few but i'm kind of new here so I don't really know many people.
d'awwww, Noble will love you ^w^
*adds as friend*

see, its as easy as that.
now me and mr.Mcfuzzers can chat ^_^
(ps.I am sorry for making you an example, but you were the closest target)

and if you guys wanna get to know more people on the escapist, I recommend joining a group.
one group ima part of is this thing where they are making a new world, its pretty fun (I recommended fire to solve our problems, they didnt go for it T.T)
and pretty much all of my time on here is in a vocaloid group.

I hardly ever add people, but if somebody is particularly outstanding I do. I have much lower standards of accepting friend invites, and will do if somebody has any basic similarity to myself, or just sends a polite message asking me to accept.

I have quite a few friends on this site, I enjoy doing it as it builds a stronger sense of online community and I get on quite well with many of them.

I have added a couple, but that may be nearly it. Unless I have a reason to add more.

I usually add people after quoting them or talking to them somewhere. 2 People added me from no where and I just accepted.
