Poll: Futurama: Disappointing

So I found the new episodes of Futurama to be very disappointing. I didn't laugh once. What did you think?

Just like the old episodes, IMO.

I was a bit worried with the robot stuff in the first one, but everything turned out good. Thumbs up from me.

I thought they were great. The plots were a little confusing, and partying Bender got a little old, but other than that they were just as good as the old ones IMO.

It was nowhere close to the old ones. It's like they just traded all of the things that made the show great for a bunch of weird jokes and in-jokes that sounded like they were written by someone who only watched a few episodes.

What's even weirder is that the movies they made earlier were great!

I thought it was kinda funny. And the episodes were more about story than laughs to just explain everything.

I hated it when they referenced "CSI: Miami" though. They usually do pop culture references in a way that makes you think, not just come out and say them. I feel like they're trying a bit too hard. There were funny moments to be sure, and the next epsiodes will probably be better.

Yeah I know, hence why I asked what other people thought. So far the majority disagrees with me. Which is good because I REALLY want Futurama to do well. It just didn't feel like Futurama to me.

Sorry I just don't like opinion threads since everyone is so different and most of the time you can't change what anyone believes.

i liked them but they were a little dissapointing. somethings don't add up. i don't remember the last movie in detail but... wasn't zapp supposed to be arrested or something for what he did? also thought the adam and eve episode was really weird, but a friend told me it was a reference to a twilight zone episode... about the new episode, proposition infinity... i think it's contradictory because bender was against human and robot relations in that episode where fry was dating a lucy liu bot... and on anthology of interests II, bender, as a human, thought that amy is attractive for the first time (because he was a human), and on futurama's first episode, the term robosexual was referred to homosexuality, bender was just saying it like that because he is a robot (as a joke). What do you think? contrary to the simpsons one of the things i liked about futurama is that there wasn't any contradictions... so far...
