Poll: Futurama spin-off idea

I know futurama was a great show and all and it shouldn't have been canceled and it is coming back, but what if Matt Groening decided to do a spin-off of futurama like the Cleveland show did for Family Guy. I just thought the best character for this would be zoidberg. Come on people! He's hilarious! What do you think?

I'm with Suiseiseki here. If you took any of the characters away from the rest of the crew, it'd end up just completely unfunny. Like the Cleveland show. Imagine taking Homer from The Smpsons and putting him in his own show.

I'm just happy that they are bringing it back. It got picked up for two seasons by Comedy Central and thats good with me.

I have to agree with Suiseiseki. United they stand, divided they fall.

If there was to be a spinoff, I'd have to go with a character outside of the core cast. Zapp Branigan probably has the strongest potential, although I think they could do great things with Lyr, ruler of the planet Omicron Persei 8.

Zoidberg or Bender

I hope for Zoidberg as he is the funniest character in the series (my personal opinion), but it'll more likely be Bender

Spoiler: this is the only character that could work as a spin-off since it would answer so many questions but at the same time it would ruin him as a character in Futurama because you don't get this 'who the fuck is this guy and how does he have 40,000 shares of stock?' after a spin off
