Poll: Game nostalgia

So, I've been hesitant to buy retro games on xbox live arcade up until recently. As you can tell by my profile pic, I am a fan of Earthworm Jim. With the somewhat recent release of EWJ HD, I couldn't help myself to pick it up, play through once or twice only to realize I've been dooped. I payed $10 to relive an experience that was once great, but should have remained a memory. I don't think I'll play it for the achievements because they are fuck-tardedly hard and not worth my time. The new levels are absolute shite as well. Anyone have any light to shed on this situation?

Bought Wolfenstein 3d when it came out for LIVE Arcade. Those were the days - no mods, no clipping tricks, no 50 different weapons and escort missions - just you, three guns, going up against wave after wave of nazis in mazes. You fire before they do, and you eat the oddly placed chicken drumsticks on the floor for health. Good times.

Also, I'm fairly certain anyone who has a Wii has at least bought one retro game from the Wii Mall or whatever its called (you can see how often I turn that on nowadays). Got myself a copy of Streets of Rage 2 and Super Dodge Ball.

i bought wolfenstein 3D, doom, duke nukem 3D, and castlevania SOTN on xbox live and i almost never get rid of my old games.

i love old games.

I bought the Baldur's Gate games just recently for PC and I'm loving it so far(but I do tend to die a lot).
