I'm probably never going to get a tattoo, but if I had to choose a game related one it would be Jin's from Tekken [http://www.gashaponrakuen.com/tekken09.JPG] on my left arm, or Jack's chain from Bioshock [http://fc03.deviantart.com/fs32/f/2008/205/8/b/BioShock_Jack_Chain_Tattoo_by_infernobat3330.jpg] on my wrist.

My philosophy is do you like it? If the answer is yes then it doesn't matter what anyone will think. I'm for all tattoos as long as they look good to the person its inked too. And I don't think all tattoos have to have a deeper meaning. A tattoo is art, a very permanent form of art but art none the less. Now the art in your room, this includes posters, do they all have some deep meaning? Usually not. I like my Umbrella tattoo. I know I'm not going to stop liking the series. And if my child, if and when I have one, ask me about it or any of my tattoos I'll explain just this. And if they want one when they are of age I will only have two request, no tramp stamp (just a joke) and no girlfriend/boyfriends name.

I've got a gamer mommy tattoo. My son's name is Locke Douglas, Locke after the video game character in FF6 and Douglas for Douglas Adams. I'm a gamer chick (and into vintage games), so I wanted a bit of my personality in my tattoo, so I've got the sprite from FF6 and my son's name and birthdate.

A friend of mine. Apparently it is based on artwork for WoW. There is more on his chest and right leg.

Bit excessive if you ask me.
It's blended nicely and all but they don't make sense o.0 I don't see anythign Wow related and can't make heads or tails of it all.. i see a wizard..a knight.. a castle a biohazard symbol..some lightning im guessing and some like..shapes and shades in between.

Thanks! :)
The way I see it, boyfriends/husbands/significant others may come and go, but my son will always be my son.

And to all the "it hurts, it's permanent" tattoo naysayers out there - childbirth hurt more, and its just as permanent.

Besides, I get "cool mommy" props. Now for the stories of showing off the tattoo to the CEO of Pokemon USA during dinner at a 4-star restaurant...

I don't have any tatoos myself (I hear they're addicting) but it seems like gaming tatoos would be really hit and miss.
How so?

This is true with all forms of body art ^_^

I honestly don't think tattoos hurt as much as they're made out to be? One of my friends told me it was like enduring 1000 papercuts at the same time, that's probably the exaggeration of the century.
I found I was actually calm and relaxed at points during the inking!
