It's a long standing debate....satisfying gameplay or a good story. Choose which you prefer in a game and end the debate once and for all!

Sad but true. Personally though, I prefer the story over gameplay. Not quite. This is his/her very first post. I'm amazed that someone's first post would be a forum thread though. And yeah, we get too many of these threads. This sums up my opinion perfectly. There are plenty of games without a story per see, like Audiosurf, any puzzle game, any shooter(you don't play those for the story, do you?), and pretty much any RTS.TaborMallory said:A shitty story can be excused as long as it's a fun game.
