Poll: Gamer Friends

OI YOU! I live in Queensland, Australia and I have serious trouble finding friends who game like me, I have less than 5 friends who game and none are PC gamers, all are PS3 gamers and all I havent got one, sure I can get internet friends but they're not really friends in my opinion, more like text on a screen with feelings.

Anyway enough about little ol' me, what about you? Are your real life friends gamers or do you have trouble finding them like me?

EDIT: When I said that internet friends are like text with feelings I meant it was hard to relate to them if I havent met them physically.

Some, most arn't intrest in games. It's fine with me thou like 25% of them are gamers.

I got a few. Some game more than other but their all still gamers.

Most of them play videogames now and then, but wouldn't call themselves gamers.

Maybe one or two regard themselves as gamers.

All my friends are serious gamers except one, and even he'll happily play multiplayer.

Most are on consoles, but those that aren't, I can have a pleasant LAN game with them.

Nope.

Friends as in 'People I hang out with'?
Don't think my family counts, so nope, because I don't really have any of those.

Most of my friends I don't really know ... a couple of my friends I play with on occasion online. But the grand majority we usuall just meet for dinner or something, get smashed, and go to karaoke.

no. i have a couple who game. most of my guy friends, however, i mostly hang out with chicks. and except for the occasional (once every 4 months) game they do not game

Most of my friends are gamers in some respect or another. Most of those who live by me, I met through a Star Wars LARP. Back at school, I made a lot of friends through tabletop gaming. There's a good bit of crossover with the video game crowd in those areas. Seek out a D&D game to find more co-op friends

All of my friends play games to some degree. Most of my friends I only know online. I have a good memory for people I care about, so I actually get to know and remember the people I meet online.

Most play games casually.

To my knowledge, I'm one of the more "hardcore" gamers as it comes to real life.

But then again, more then half of my friends are girls and we know how the stereotype goes.
They all game, sure. Just freaking Sims 3 and Final Fantasy/ JRPG stuff I tend to ridicule.

Although I think one of my friends is hiding from me that he's playing WoW, although I'm not 100% sure.

Most of my friends used to be all about gaming, but have now moved to other interests like BMX-ing. I caught up with some friends I hadn't seen for at least 2 years the other day, and they told me that one of my other friends (who wasn't there) had changed his name to Dragon Slayer.

I kid you not, legally his name is now something like Dave Dragon Slayer. Only a couple of friends still play games frequently so when I see they are online, I try to get a quick co-op game like Borderlands going.

Most of my friends are, but not all.

However, ALL of my friends are nerds about something--be it music, movies, comics, animation (including anime) or gaming, so they're all damn awesome and fun to hang out with.
