I am currently in the middle of my A levels, and I have put my xbox into self-imposed exile until I complete my last paper. This was a hard thing to do!!

I was wondering, how did you Escapists approach gaming in these difficult times?

Since half my classes are pretty easy, I use those periods to study for the other half rather then at home, so I game about the same amount.

If you mean give up games to study I laugh at that. I haven't studied for......anything besides a driving exam in over 6 years. I'm just talented at school I guess, I never study but get all A's oh the irony. But I do realise that one day I will have to stop gaming to study and I don't look forward to that.

What do you have to study for 6 years after a driving exam!?

He hasn't studied for anything besides the driving exam.

...and on topic... I'm trying to quit, honest, but Earthbound just keeps dragging me back. Damned addictive JRPGs...

Poll needs more options; I seem to be gaming more than usual.

*Sigh, I'm gonna fail :/

I stopped all social gaming prior to the important ones, but a couple hours on SF4, valkyria chronicles or some groupless WoW quests every other night was fine. its only Sorta related but i made sure i cleared all time-consuming RPGs just before the 'revision period' kicked in, took me a good week and a half solid.

I'm doing my GCSE's so my revision plan is revise for hour or so then play half hour games as a break. It works so I'm sort of playing more than I would.

First year of a degree, my gaming has decreased but not stopped
usually its reserved for late in the evening so i don't feel like i could be revising.

I game more. I will do 6 hours revision a day ish, in 40 minutes plugs, and break 20 minutes at a time on games. I hardly play at all whilst in lectures really.
