Poll: gaming magazines

I had a subscription to the Australian PSone magazine for about 3 years, then the PS2 one for about 3 years.

That's a lot of magazines, and a lot of Demo disks!

being a sony fanboy, I feel inclined to say PSOM, which would be true... well kind of, I dont have a subscription and I only have like 3 issues.

I used to be part of the GamePro community, and, considering I didn't find the Escapist until late '08, my subscription is still going strong. I plan to unsubscribe this year, because they're kind of boring and their info. is always dated. No offense, though. I was subscribed for a good 3 years.

Game Informer gave me a pretty decent amount of news so I stick with them. I also got that awesome EB Games subscription so I tried it for free.

I've got nothing against them, but I don't read gaming mags. I used to read Nintendo Power when I was a wee lad, but that was over a decade ago. The only thing that they offer that's worthwhile to me anymore are the posters; everything else is available on the web.

Well a few of my mods have been put into magazines... however, I don't read them except on those rare occasions, and I usually only read the piece about my mod. I really don't see the point when I could use the internet.

I don't like them, but I have a subscription to PC gamer because it gives me big lulz.
