I had two days off work sick last week, and managed more gaming than in the previous month. So yeah, being ill can't stop me! Plus it took my mind off the disgusting flu

Depends on how sick I am, if I am only mildly sick then I can, and if I'm enjoying myself I forget I am sick. If I am really sick I sleep and watch tv.

It depends completely on the illness at question. If I have something like strep throat, tonsillitis, or a flu bad enough to keep me bed-ridden, I cannot play any games whatsoever. However should this illness be something weak like Bronchitis or such I can play random games. Obviously games such as farming simulations will be easier on me while sick than extremely challenging alien shooter death matches.

Depends. If it's something like a fever or migraine it becomes difficult to concentrate so there's not much I can do. Anything else is fine as long as I don't have to leg it to the toilet every ten minutes.

On a related note, gaming while (not too badly) injured is pretty awesome. People bring you stuff so you don't have to get up.

Playing when I'm sick usually makes me feel tired. So, if I do game when I'm sick, I don't do it for more than around 20 minutes before I give up and take a nap.

I had mono that was worrying doctors, I still played Deadrising, it's probably the only thing I COULD do, I couldn't talk, eat or barely drink, I was too tired to move, but too bored to sleep.

I think I'm a little mixed in this, because, well, when I'm home sick, that's one of the times that I'll play a lot of video games. I'm sure I probably do screw up when I'm sick, but I think, knowing that I'm unwell, and I have nothing else to do, I can usually focus all my energy on the single activity of gaming, so it becomes like a channel for it. So I have a lot of practice of gaming while sick. Besides, I suffer from chronic headaches anyway, so I don't usually game while well. =P

Since I rarely get sick, when I am, I am hit really, really hard. I basically pass in and out of conciousness, so I don't really game when sick.

Yeah, if I can play, I usually have to play solo. All the sneezing and coughing seems to make people irritable

Eh, sometimes when I'm sick thed desire to play games will go down, but if I do play a game, being sick doesn't all that much affect how well I play.

I usually play games when I'm sick, and I do fine playing single-player, but playing online is horrible when I'm sick.

Once I had an enormous headache and a cold but there was nothing to do so I just played Gears of War 2 online for about 6 hours straight. Definitely not a good idea. I was terrible and kept messing up and when I was done my head was pounding. I game while I'm sick because there's nothing else to do, but I end up paying for it. I'm even worse playing them than if I was healthy.
