Poll: Garrys mod tips

i recently bought G mod in the steam sales and i cant seem to make anything like the ships and motars everyone else can make so have you got any tips to help me (and anyone else who needs it, actually screw them just help me!)

I was like this to begin with, just muck about really. Experiment with the different tools and spawnables.

Also join building servers and see what others have made and use that as inspiration.
