All I'm going to say is that it's popular to be bisexual right now, so I doubt that everyone who says they are actually is.

Under 35 and straight by the way.

Under 35 and straight. I don't know any older people who are bisexual. Probably because it's the cool thing for teenagers and young adults to be right now. No offence intended of course, but I know a few 'bisexual' people and I can see right through them.

Under 35, bisexual.

I guess stuff like bisexuality is more recognized and accepted amongst younger generations, or is more readily acknowledged by the younger generations, as they may actually have the ability (or balls) to follow their sexual urges with members of both sexes.
Those who grew up in times when anything even remotely camp earned you a beating or verbal abuse might be less keen to do so. Also, their friends and family might be far less accepting, or even that those of an older generation are more content with their current sexual encounters, and feel no urge to 'try new things with an adventurous 45 year old bear.'

So, in saying that, I suppose I'm insinuating old people are prudes.
Which is true :p

So most of you would be aware of the recent thread that asks for your sexuality. I saw this thread and thought 'Wow, there are a lot more bisexual people then I would have thought'[footnote]I'm not prejudiced, it was a non-discriminatory observation[/footnote] M question however, is more of an unofficial and inconclusive scientific survey. The purpose of this is to see if the different generations have different percentages of sexual orientations and if they match my beliefs.

EDIT: In case people wonder, I put 'other' for myself for two reasons:
1. I'm not sure yet.
2. I'm determined to keep the world guessing as to my orientation (a little game of mine)
Straight, naw?

I said bisexual (under 35). But to clarify this, while I'm sexually attracted to women, I prefer relationships with men. So I'll sleep with the ladies, but don't really date them.

Well, I'm 32 and I pretty much consider myself to be from the generation before all you youngins' here.

Seriously though, the whole idea of monolithic generations that we seem to have stuck in our collective consciousness is just a leftover from WW2. There hasn't been "a generation" in that sense since generation X, (Of which I consider myself a member. My parents are baby boomers, dammit.) because the rate of birth leveled off. Now there's just a steady stream of people again.

Other could also be an option for people that think of themselves as a-sexual by the way. I've met people on other forums that don't have any sexual interest in either gender, and say they are a-sexual. (Not to be confused with a-sexual reproduction, like most people on those forums trolled that guy for).
