Well Im not rly that savvy when it comes to different kinds of airplanes out there I was hoping that everyone would be using jet fighter thingys talking like tom cruise while fighting enemies in planes that look similar, slightly different colored and explode alot easier.(Oh and the pilots would be incompetant.)

giant robot fights! you can never have enough giant robot fighting games (which outside of japan aren't alot)

I just love scenarios when this happens.

Evil robot pilot: I am attacking the city
Good robot pilot: I am fighting you now
Evil robot pilot: I am losing right now
Good robot pilot: I finish you with millions of missles and laser!

City gets destroyed with the evil robot pilot

Good robot pilot: I have saved the city!

UUUhh well as generic as L4D is zombie wise it'd be more generic if everyone was a coward and only one or two people used guns (one of which would get killed "holding them off")

You
a city full of zombies
ammo &weapons lying just about everywhere
survive X amount of time
possible building of barricades with scavenged junk

i don't think it get's more generic then that (if you ignore the building of barricades that is)
