I have fought (and lost) against armies that had a extreme amount of troops, and those with high level creatures.
But
What tactic do you use?

Fire emblem also has a rock paper scissors effect and yet is one of the most tactical games out there.

I don't know. I haven't been able to win anything, which makes me curious. I'm usually really good at these games, but 1/8 streak? Your kidding.

I try to maintain a balance between large numbers of weak units and stronger units.

I'm currently using 50 Insectoid Drones, 35 Xenoform Psykers, and 15 Grey Commanders.

I've beaten more skilled but equal numbered armies, and large numbers of weak enemies as well. Balanced.

But Ninja for the win, anyway.

Balance. It also depends. At one point, I noticed a lot of people with only 2 groups, but a lot of units, so I went that route to match. Now that I have built up my money a bit, I have re-expanded.

I find that if some one has a HUGE ammount of crappy guys, that they tend to win. So im trying Large ammounts of ok guys, it seems to be working.

i find that after i ran out of some troops by only using two units that covered 4 types of enemies ie i used tanker and stalker i was able to build up cash to buy better and better units
