there are things in this world science will never explain. Yet Religion isn't always the answer. But this thread well not end well no it will not :S

I've never seen one or seen any acceptable evidence of one so I can only assume that they do not exist. But as far as we know, there are a hundred ghosts standing behind us, watching as we type... spooky.

I dont think they are real. Most pics are either clearly nothing out of the ordinary or fake.

*slowly looks behind me* Wow 100 ghosts stoking my ass as I'm on a gaming site! No wonder I always have that feeling that someone's watching me!!! These ghosts better know their gaming stuff or they better be my guardian angel(s) or they can get the hell out!!!!!

They're plausible, though I've never seen evidence or had an encounter with one. Nothing really disproves them except the credibility of the supporters most of the time.

Real or not. Reasons?
It would be nice to know your own opinion about it.
As 0p3rati0n already stated, there are some things science can't explain. At least yet.
I'm spektical on this subject. It's rather funny when I see some TV shows about supernatural, most of the appearences happend in the US and only a random couple ones somewhere else. Maybe they have some kind of Ghost Playground there, who knows. :p

What do you expect? It's not like ghosts have anything better to do. The novelty of making cups float around wears off quickly and if everyone who dies becomes a ghost, there's got to be a serious overcrowding problem. It's no big deal anyway, there's probably at least twice as many people stalking you on facebook.

You're all stupid, of course they exist, I keep one in my fridge called terry, he drowned in beer you see, so he just stays in my fridge and watches my roomates beer. I also have a pet dragon named shirley and my own Jesus! *eye twitch*

Yeah, they are real. I have seen enough weird sh*t to make me a believer.

Science may not explain it in our life, or the next million, but given enough time, Science will solve everything. =p

Actually, I believe they explained it in the early 2000s, I should search around for a source, but oh well.

Now i'm not saying I fully believe in ghosts, but I used to work at pizza hut in york (for those who don't know york is considered one of england's most haunted cities) located next door to what is 'apparently' York's most haunted building and my experience goes like this:

I was busy on a clean shift vaccuuming the restaurant floor. there was only me there, minus the guy working in the kitchen in the back. as I was vaccuuming through the middle of the restaurant, i turned around and the menu stand by the door (in case you haven't seen one it's a 4-foot tall wooden thing that weighs a tonne) had appeared about 10 inches behind me.

Bearing in mind I saw this menu stand literally about 15 seconds before this happened. I have to rule out the guy in the kitchen because to come out of the kitchen, go across the restaurant without me seeing him, carrying a menu stand that usually takes 2 people to carry, and get back in the kitchen (again without me noticing) in 15 seconds is pretty-much impossible.

That's the only experience i've ever had but I've had a few customers reporting some strange goings on and the managers have also seen or heard some strange things. I know we can explain some of the things with electromagnetic fields, interdimensional rifts, etc etc, but after working for three years in that place it does give you reason to suspect that there's more to life than what we see.
