Is it so odd that a girl is better at a game than you? It's silly to even be thinking about it. Just be happy you have a shared interest and leave it at that. I'm better at some games than my bf, he's better than me at others, it never occurred to me that it might be emasculating in any way. But then I doubt I'd be with him if he thought that.

No. You should be yourself; Scared and Proud are their own people.
Also, I wish I had a girlfriend better at games than I am. Uh...
That is, I wish I had a girlfriend. Ever. Or a boyfriend. Really, I don't care.
You scare me...

Nope, no auto-aim when I played, so aiming at anyone was... rather difficult.
Had to aim properly, just like everyone else. If anything, aiming on that game was more difficult than any other FPS I have played.
Still, I've never enjoyed an FPS on PC as much as I have on a console. So I use a PC for RTS games, which I find them best for, and consoles for FPSs, which I find them best for.
Except for the added bonus of mods on PC... that is one thing that makes the PC better for games.
Unless you aren't interested in using mods, of course.
I am interested in mods, so that combined with dedicated servers is reason enough for me to play fpses on PC, but I could never abandon my mouse if it was the other way around anyway.

Consoles are imo best used for
Xbox: 3rd person stuff
PS: Fighting games

PC is superior when it comes to fps/rts.

Meh...I wish there was some way we could duke it out in an fps...ah well... :p

I'd offer to play a game against you on, say, Modern Warfare 2 on 360, but I don't think you'd take part :p
I do have TF2 on PC... but I just found it not as fun to play as the console version... thus this conversation, where FPSs are enjoyed more on console...
And the controls for it on PC just made it not worth playing. Impossible to aim...
But that may also be because I suck at TF2, just not as much on console as on PC.

Dude, having a girlfriend who's kickass at something you enjoy is something rather wonderful. Being scared is not the right response.

(I picked "proud", in case you were wondering)

You should be scared because this means that if you guys get into a firefight she will strait kill you.

(In real life. I felt like that was not clear.)

You should be scared, terrifyed! She is stronger than you and therefore she is the enemie!

OT: It's not something to be scared off. If she's better than you, just screenwatch every time you play split/screen with her (I watch the other persons screen often when I'm playing with friends.)

I'd say both. Just make sure she doesn't get her hands on a real gun in any argument or you'll end up shitting a brick or two.
