Depends entirely on the glasses and who's wearing them. Having said that, I think that thick-framed glasses can be cute on girls but only when they're actual glasses not a fashion style. It's a minor nitpick but it just bothers me when they're not real >.<.
bro I know how you feel I'm the same way, its like please just wear real glasses if you need to, don't try and be a hipster.

It makes no difference. If you're attractive already, it just makes you look better. If you're not so aesthetically pleasing, it won't save you.
your avatar made me hungry for jelly spread bread :(

to OP;
I'm a guy with glasses myself and I generally prefer girls without glasses, though I wouldn't really have a problem with a girl that does have them. I don't really find it all that attractive, though it all comes down to personality in the end ;0
Friendly nerdy girl with glasses vs slutty make-up woman, err yeah easy pick for me. Go nerds!

Glasses is a sign of a defect. Our brain are wired to see defects as undesirable sexual partners. Most people therefore appear better looking without glasses.
I'm pretty sure that the part of your brain that is responsible for sexual attraction wouldn't recognize glasses as a defect as it isn't physically part of your body.

Well, even with an attractive girl, it depends on the type of glasses and how it looks on her. But yes, it can somewhat enhance their sexiness to some people, probably due to the whole sexy schoolgirl/sexy librarian/sexy nerd fetish.

But you're kinda right with the unattractive girl part. Double standards? Maybe. They're damn near the only standards we have, and that's just how the world screws you over like that.
Oh no, you misunderstand. That was just my opinion and how I see things. I wouldn't presume to know what other people find attractive.
Oh, OK then.

It depends on the girl, and it depends on the glasses. I don't have an issue with the "hipster" glasses, so long as there's not a pretentious attitude to go with it (easier said than found).

Well looks like I am in the minority here I strongly dislike people wearing glasses (dislike not hate) and I will clarify I dont dislike the people wearing the glasses (some of them need to wear glasses including quite a lot of my friends) just the look of wearing glasses.

Glasses just dont do it for me I am not entirely sure what it is but I think its something to do with covering your eyes which makes me instantly suspicious of people hence why I dont like baseball caps either and I really dislike sunglasses I have a pair for driving and have probably worn them twice in 10 years as the sun has to be blinding me completely before I will concede to wear the damn things.Oddly enough I have no problem with eyepatches or blindfolds or anything else that covers your eyes which cant be seen through by the wearer.

So as you will probably guess I prefer girls without glasses, with isnt necessarily a deal breaker but I find them much more attractive without (unless they are heavily crosseyed or something).

I wish I was a velociraptor.

Anyway... Yeah I like glasses

Apart from hipster big, no screen glasses.

Yeah hipster glasses can fuck off...

I say it depends. Some people look good with glasses while others don't. I have to wear glasses, and I think I look worse for it. My boyfriend thinks they make me look better.

(ok, so the photos were taken about two years apart, and both were taken a long while ago, but honestly I still look pretty much the same ['cept my hair is shorter])
I agree with your boyfriend, you look better with them on.

I dunno, it depends really on the style of glasses and the fashion style of the guy wearing them. I don't think frumpy old glasses look good on anyone, and though I used to think rimless glasses were all the rage, they actually tend to age a person's face. Guys who treat their glasses with some fashion sense and wear what's appropriate/attractive for their facial structure look just fine in them.

I'm a woman though, and I've been stuck wearing glasses for the past 4 years or so since my eyes decided to reject contacts out of the blue and I get headaches from them. I have like, five pairs, and I'd rather not have to wear them. I think they detract from my style and most of the outfits I wear, and I absolutely hate wearing them at the gym. Urgh.

Do you know its a defect? Great, then your brain knows.
But surely it wouldn't trigger that instinctive response?

Why not? Your brain takes in all available information and then makes a call.
Well, if that happened, I would have thought a lot less people would be attracted to glasses than there are.

Female here:

I don't look at glasses as something sexual, hot, or even part of 'fashion', I see them as a necessary tool to help me see better.

I wear glasses because I [really] need them, not for a fashion statement or because I think they are 'sexah'. I don't wear contacts because I don't want to; along with eye irritation, forgetting they are in there, and possibility of infection because of a mistake on my part. I picked a pair of frames I liked the most out of a group and now I wear them. Is it a relationship deal breaker? No. Do I care what I look like with them on? Not really.

If you need them, you need them; great. If you wear fake glasses or glasses you don't need so you look 'cool' or try to perpetuate some hipster-nerd fashion style culture,....then there is a good chance I will probably dislike you.

I voted guy / hot in the interest of science but same as anything else, they're only sexy on someone who's got the right basic equipment. Thy're certainly not a turn-off though.

Also, I'm surprised to see so many velociraptors are willing to break cover for the sake of this poll. Velociraptor Awareness Day is April 18 everyone - they're among us so stay prepared out there!

This is such a broad question really. While I dont dislike glasses I dont think they are inherently sexy, because someone may look sexier with glasses or less sexy with them.
same with hotpants or thin sweathers, they're only sexy if the person fits them.
with that said I believe glasses can be a really effective accessory to make a girl seem sexy, but honestly they usually only work if the girl was sexy to begin with.
as for dudes, I dont see glasses being sexy in any way.
(personally I prefer without glasses because I would like to look at his/her eyes)

I'm a guy, and it really depends on the glasses. Just looking at a pair of glasses, I can't say for sure whether it'll look sexy on a girl or not. I'd need to see them on the girl. However, fake glasses are for jerks. Unless they serve a function other than fashion (eg: seeing, protecting your eyes from the sun) you shouldn't wear them.

I picked the "I'm a girl and I think glasses are sexy on guys" option.

But honestly, it's dependent on the guy and on the glasses. As most things are.

It depends on the frames and how they fit the girl - but that goes for basically any accessory as well.
