So is any one going to get it. I want it to be awesome but i will wait for reviews on it. I read the single player is great but the multiplayer needs work. are any of you guys getting it?

I already own a couple of Call of Duty games. Don't have much need for another one.
Yeah, yeah, I know the original Goldeneye was a revolution in console FPSs. And yes, I know it's become obnoxiously cliche for people to brand pretty much any game they don't personally like as a "CoD clone", but in this case I think it's justified. I look at that and I see nothing but Modern Warfare with English accents.
At least it doesn't seem to do that CoD thing were they make you follow a set of precise scripted instructions and try to call it stealth. But that's not enough for my money. Besides, I have Deus Ex: HR for that.

Got a Wii and a Classic Controller?, rent it and just ignore the crappy graphics and think of it as a beta build for the newer version. (although, I really liked the Wiimote+Nunchuck configuration)
Want my opinion?, the game is good, nothing groundshaking, but it's certainly better than the original N64 game and given the more complex framework for PSN & Xbox Live (as in more people playing at the same time and voice chat), the multiplayer has a lot of potential, but I don't see this game replacing any of your favorite multiplayer games, especially in the eve of MW3 and BF3.

Not that I have a console that can run it, but I don't really see the point of a Goldeneye remake that fits into the line of shooters created by Halo instead of into the one created by, you know, Goldeneye. Any new Goldeneye games should feel like the ultimate iteration of Timesplitters, which was the last series to really play like Goldeneye, and really should feel nothing like any other modern shooter.

I loved the Wii-version and thought it was extremely fun, even when compared to the original N64 game (yay for actually NOT wearing nostalgia-tinted glasses!). Since my Wii is not at college and I'm barred from bringing it up to college, I will be buying this for my Xbox.

I played it on the Wii with some friends and found it extremely underwhelming.
The only thing about that game I enjoyed was Oddjob's hat.
