Think of the one moment you can call the happiest moment of your life... It's gone.

Think of everyone you hold close and dear... Dead.

Think of everything you own... Lost.

Can you even begin to imagine having nothing at all in the world? Not living oblivious to the fact, but to live knowing all you had, had dissappeared. Would you choose to live on?

If i had forgotten my life, I would forget my loved ones and possessions and everything else.

And then this thread disappears in a puff of logic.

Premature ejaculation.

Sorry, it's what I first thought of (I can't be the only one t think that was what this thread was about). Please wait for a coherent response.

Coherent response: I'd live on. You can just start all over again.

Yeah, because if I forgot everything, then I wouldn't know that any of it happened in the first place, I'd be able to start a completely new life.

I'd be like Kaim Argonar, apart from the immortal thing.

Yeah, it's on now, you fucking life! This time, I'll beat the crap out of you!
Meaning, I'd keep on living just out of spite.

EDIT: Uhm, guys, he wrote that you're not oblivious of all the things you lost.

Note the extra awesomeness of a Douglas Adams reference at the bottom.

Depends. By learning, do you include my beliefs about the meaning of life?

If I keep my view of the world, then yes, I would, because one should always try to build the best form every circumstance. You can only 'lose' at life by giving up

If I forgot this, I don't know what I would do.
Possibly just give up.

Yes I would, although I'd probably die pretty quickly if everything I'd ever learned was forgotten.

Beliefs are based off things you learn: Forget what you learned, forget your beliefs.

So I'd say yeah.

Well done, you noticed. Perhaps I need to re-phrase it to make it more clear...

But if I learn that I lost everything while the Gone In a Second curse is in effect, I will forget it if I forget everything I'd learned. Never-ending paradox.

Logic puff. We are correct.

And there we come to a problem. You are shaped by your memories, and if they are all gone, you are not only blank, but an entrily different person. How can we predict what we will be like?

Also, if my memories are gone, do all the other points matter? I have fogotten what I ahve lost, and therefore feel no sense of lose

Unless "learnt in your entire life" refers to stuff from school, university, maybe even riding a bicycle or how to poop in a toilet.
He'd have to clarify it a bit. But he never said "your whole life forgotten".
