Poll: Good Game Drama!

A host from an Australian hit Gaming show on our government funded channel has been fired and replaced by a "less experienced female".

It's received a fair amount of press, even being on the top of the Sydney Morning Herald website.

So what do you think of it?

What's the name of the show? I've never heard of it. (Edit: In the sense that I've never heard of any hit gaming show)
but I suppose that is interesting news.

yeah, good game is solely an australian thing.
and junglist was my faveourite presenter *sadface*
but Hex seems alright, I was a bit shocked a t the sudden changeover, but owell....

For those who don't know, good game is basically an AU Games Review show (for gamers, by gamers is their tagline) Started off quite small, but has gotten bigger and bigger in the AU with their great humour segments and honest reviews. Understanding their own personal bias.
For a funny review, look for their Gears 2 review (Think of warhammer... the tabletop game)

Bahh.. This is why polls suck.

Where is the "I'm sad to see Jung go but things happen, and Hex seems pretty cool so lets see how it all goes" option.

I watched her first ep while roaming around the GG forums and woahh.. They really don't like change.. Its pretty unfair she is getting hammered really hard (and most, if not all, of what I read was posted before her first appearance).

I'll keep watching it and I'm pretty sure I'll keep enjoying it.

I don't mind Hex, I think she's alright, but the thing I'm really annoyed about is that Junglist was removed as host of the show because the ABC felt that a female host would attract more viewers.

if he was a good host, and every one liked him, then Im sure he'll come back soon enough. But, if the hostess is hot, then depending on how much clothing she decides to take off, she may stay.

My idealistic side tells me it's blatant sexism, and that it should be opposed for the fundamental nature of this injustice and the long history of precedence that it's adding to.

My animalistic side tells me to support this change so that women will think I'm a sensitive, respectful guy.

Cool, thanks for your responses everyone. Was talking to some of my friends and was actually surprised about how many of them who I expected had never seen the show in their life asked me about this.

I have actually been working on a big group assignment for the past week and hadn't watched been paying attention, so I just wanted to get general gamer's opinions of it, not the trash you find on facebook.
