The Dalai Lama says the secret to true happiness is 9 hours of sleep. Do you agree? I do.

PS: If I spelled his name incorrectly, apologies, but you get the idea.

Eh. It depends on where you're sleeping, too. Like 9 hours on a cot will not make you feel better.

If I wake up after a good night's sleep, and drink some chocolate milk in the morning, I will be on cloud nine the whole day.

This. It has been a very long time since I got a good night's sleep. I'm tired basically all the time; it takes me ages to get to sleep; and I always wake up earlier than I want to. It sucks.

That being said, on the rare occasion that I do get a good night's sleep, I do feel much better for it.

Its depends on what you sleep on. Sleeping for nine hours on a bed of nails wouldn't make you feel better, but sleeping on a king sized bed would.

I can go either way for me. Sometimes I feel refreshed, others I feel horrible. It all depends on the day I had really, I think. For example, if my day involved heavy exercise, after a sleep I feel awful and stiff, while after a sleep with an illness, I still feel crap in the morning.

However, on other days, a good nights sleep is fantastic, and I wake up feeling great.

Still, I don't agree with the whole "9 hours sleep a night" thing. For me, a good nights sleep is 5-6 hours, and that's it. Any more than that, and I wake up feeling grumpy.

9 hours? My god, the Dalai Lama needs to get a job!

7-8 hours and I'm good. If I sleep half the day, I wake up feeling as though I've wasted the whole day, which isn't a good feeling.

Ditto. It's getting really annoying - you'd think being so tired would make falling asleep the easiest thing in the world, but it really isn't.

You got his name right, don't worry.

And I absolutely agree. I blame all of you for keeping me up at night.

He visited my college a couple times. The tour guide made that VERY CLEAR. Sleep is overrated though.

Also, Dalai LAMIA LULZ

Man, I wish I could sleep 9 hours each night. In stead, I go to bed rather late and I have to wake up early to get to work :/

On holidays though, I get my fair share of sleep. It's just not very regular and not exactly on the good hours of the day.
