I've had mine for a while now and couldn't be without it! It does everything I need, except sexual acts. Unfortunately!!

I only really want a phone for my phone. I could care less about all of the extra things that it might do.

It might look nice and all, but I only need a phone. And judging from the reports I keep hearing, that's the one thing the iPhone lacks.

I considered getting one, but ended up getting a normal smartphone instead. I didn't like using the touchscreen keyboard; the buttons seemed too small for my fingers. It's a cool concept, but just not my cup of tea.

Yeah, the newest one. You get some bang for your buck, but it's nothing infinitely amazing. Contrary to popular belief, the phone part works amazing on the new ones.

No, I don't want an iPhone. It annoys me that you have to press the display (= leaves finger prints all over) and it's just lol how many apps those phones have. I don't regard iPhone as a phone anymore actually, it's more like a mini-computer. I'm gonna stick with my Nokia 3610 Fold. <3

I have an iPhone, and for the most part am completely satisfied. What I'm not happy with is Apple's cryptic App approval/rejection procedure. It makes it so developers won't waste time making useful apps for fear of them being rejected, and wasting money. Therefore, you end up with a million flashlight apps.

I kind of wish I'd waited for Android (though I'm not thrilled over the G1's form factor, or T-Mobile) or the Palm Pre (I can't believe that's a Palm!)

I think this statement holds some merit.

My only complaint with the phone, is when Carrier signal is completely lost - it can take some time to be restored!!

overpriced? on my plan that i would have gotten with any other phone anyway...my 16gb 3g iphone costs $94 AUD, 1 payment ever.

(optus if anyone is interested $79 cap, unlimited sms, $660 worth of calls and enough internet useage...i haven't gone over it yet so i am fine with it :D)

No i don't work for optus

No I don't have an Iphone... I also don't have $100 bills each month for phone usage. Funny about that.

I love my iphone - i have to be honest the price put me off but when my husband upgraded to 3g i got his 1st gen for free, I already had an 02 chip so i haven't signed up for an iphone contract yet so I don't get the cool voicemail doohicky but my life is on it, synced with my work mail and gmail, my calender, alarms and to do lists, i've got recipes, my music and all the obvious phone bits.

Little touches that the scrolling history on your text msg is genius - gone are the days when someone texts you "YES" and your like "YES F***ING WHAT!" because you can't remember what you sent them 2 days ago and you have to trawl your sent box (assuming you had one)

My iphone case is even awesome. Its a bit like a purse, a leather slot in section for my phone and the other (opening) side has slots for my cards (so I'm super screwed if i lose my phone but that'd be my fault not the technology OK!!)

I have to say getting one FOR FREE is almost the sweetest part about it.

I would have one if it could actually run multiple applications.

But they can't.

I have an ipod touch and a cheap mobile phone I could tape them together and I've got an Ipod which only costs me £140 (£120 for the touch, £20 for a pay as you go phone) so yay
