Ok, so random thought occured to me; have a female protagonist in the next GTA game. We haven't had any female protagonists in the GTA series. We've hade irritating girlfriends, health giving prostitutes and female antagonists (thats villians for those that don't know). But we haven't had a woman who is ruthless and likable as a character.
So, Rockstar pay attention this could work out to be a great idea and I'll want a royalty for this.
Alright, lets set GTA V in Vice City, we already got an updated Liberty City so the next logical step is to update Miam....I mean Vice City. Our protagonist is a single mother, yes I know, with 1 or 2 kids. Ok so motivation for doing these crimes. Lets face it in GTA you are either a whore in an office or a whore on the street. Our lady protagonist refuses to do either and is left with comming crimes.
Also here is why she is a single mother, or a married mother. This provides her with excellent motivation to do anything for her children. The fact that she would be doing this for the purpose of providing a better life for them makes her a relatable character. Additionally, as a father I can tell you that if it ment a guarantee to the health and prosperity of my child I would be willing to butcher half the universe. Fortunately for me I don't have to do that. I wouldn't want to in fact but I would be willing to. See why I want to make her a mother.
Additionally you can get some hillarious missions out of this. For example:
Your children are attending a friend's birthday party. One of the other moms ask you to go and check on the clown/cowboy/pirate entertainer. You head down to wherever he's at and find that he is drunk. So since we can't have disappointed kids you have to get him sober and then bring him to the party. So we can put in a minigame that involves sobering him up by nearly drowning him, you fail the mission if you hold his head in the cold water to long.
So, what do you all think? I think its a pretty good idea.

. Seriously, though, I just wanted to show it's possible to make the protagonist a single mother with kids and still don't have the kids present in the actual game, only in the opening and at the end.
