I guess it doesn't have to be just green. You can put in some shamrocks, maybe a picture of green beer, maybe a picture of yourself or someone celebrating St. Patrick's Day... How are you going to celebrate?

I think it's too bad that it falls on wednesday this year... stupid middle of the week. But I'm going to celebrate it non-the-less by going down to my favorite Irish pub and be as Irish as I can with a few of my friends. And of course I'll be all in green.

Well, I couldn't care less about St. Patrick's Day. Which isn't that uncommon in Sweden. Nobody here celebrates St. Patrick's day.

I don't celebrate it anyway. I don't know any of the little holidays. Only reason I know Halloween and Fethmas is because of the huge advertising campaigns.

Funnily enough, I don't feel the need to "Irish myself up", since I'm already Irish to begin with. St. Patrick's Day over here is just a day to watch parades while utterly smashed. Not my thing, to be honest. I think I'll just meet up with some friends instead.

As far as I know, here in North America, the average person doesn't see St. Patrick's Day as anything religious, unless green beer is their religion. It's just an excuse to get drunk with friends, or alone, wear a shamrock if you've got a shamrock pin, wear green clothes, and uh... whatever else you might own that's green. I'm sure if the actual St. Patrick knew how we celebrate his day, he'd cry.
