Poll: GRID....worth it?

I saw that Steam offered Race Driver: GRID at only 9.99 euro. So I was wondering if I should buy it now that it's got such a low price.

I played the demo, and I wasn't too fond of it. However, I'm not a big racing fan, and haven't played one in a long time, so I'm thinking I'm just "out of shape". The thing I really wanna know is: is there enough variety in it? I like the ability to rewind after you've crashed, but I wish it was usable at all times (pehaps it is, didn't play for that long)

I wasn't a huge fan, but then the more realistic a driving game gets the worse I am. I prefer Burnout. If you want variety burnout is quite good one, so many ways to blow up other peoples car

Also, crash rewinding is for people who can't drive properly. It's a crutch for people who can't keep it on the tarmac.

Or people who played too much Sands of Time.

I didn't like the game, the handling wasn't bad, but I didn't like that it's in between a realistic racer and an unrealistic one. Also, crash rewinding is cheap as fuck, and makes the game way too easy.

No, you shouldn't get it. I didn't like it. I am a pretty big racing fan and it just doesn't feel right. Its not that your rusty, its that the racing is a mix of sim and arcade. I don't think it works well together.

I love the game to this day. But I reckon it really is only for racing enthusiasts.

Buy it just to hear the hilarious co-driver voices, the Italian one is the best imo.
