ARGH,
Hi Escapists,
Just off the phone with my pain in the ass teamamtes for a group project for college. I couldnt make it in today to because I had to stay at home and collect my little sister from school but thnks to the wonder that is the net I can complete my work from here and send it on. Now I have one of them (the pain in the ass workshy one) Trying to tear me a new one because I'm not their to help (with her fucking section), The work was to be distributed among three of us in 5 sections. So I took two sections and left them the other three, My work is all but finished and its not due until tomorrow afternoon so i didnt see a big deal in staying home to help out by getting my little sister. Now because I'm not their to help with her workload I'm the useless one?

Yeah, but not big projects so it was fine with me to do a lot of the work. I would ask him/her questions on it or get them to write since usually the ones who don't want to work like everything neat and tidy, so I get them to write and stuff.

I'm not in college, but this happened to me all the time in highschool.
I'd do a lot of work, and everyone else would just sit around and look bored.

I'd even tell them what they could do, and they would still complain...

Lazy sons-a-bitches...

Team mates are like that...

The worst one I've had was the entire team but me doing nothing.

Luckily I had a funny feeling in the middle of hte night, and woke up and did 10 hours of work in about 5 hours.

I got an 94% on it, and the other team mates got 0%'s.

It's sad to say it, but if you want something done properly .... do it yourself. You'll learn. In my trade, we call it the "treat everyone like a c**t rule". Since I learnt it, I get on fine with my job now.

Unfortunately thats the 'real' lesson with team exercises. When you get a career you have to deal with useless cretins that you work with. You just have to do the work and show yourself as the one who did it.

Every group I've ever been matched with has been useless. Somehow I always end up doing all the work. I can't complain though.. We always end up getting a good grade. :]

I've had a few band members that just don't work with anyone else. They either aren't any good, put no effort in or are just arseholes.

It makes everything a lot harder than it should be.

On the other had I've had bands where we all like each other, everyone is good at what they do and everyone is happy, and things go so well with the end result being amazing.

As far as i can tell you divided up the work evenly, so it should be their responsibility to do their share with or without you.

All the time. All you do is deal with them. Get the work done, and then next round, request someone else.

AWWW, some one made a thread about me! I'm the lazy one when it came to group projects, but I don't like people, have ADHD and about a million other reasons to not play well with others.
Haha, you stole the words from my mouth. Well, I don't think I have ADHD, but I certainly don't like people. Well, some people. Most people. >:

Been with some? I am one!

Though to be honest, when I think it's important I do no work at all, annoying my team members, then suddenly come out of nowhere with something better than theirs.

To this day all of the teachers still think I am a good worker.
