Poll: GTA IV comes to PC

So, I wake up this morning, go downstairs and discover the new issue of PCGamer sitting on my doormat. Stick on the kettle, open it up and lo and behold, one of the first articles is entitled "GTA IV comes to PC" (to which I can only reply, I bloody well called it.) Oh it will be nice to see the looks on the faces of the people who were mocking me because they had it on their precious consoles while I resolved to wait until it came out on PC. "It'll never happen." they said.

Anyway, some facts from the article. Release date is 21st of November (can't see that slipping much, as they'll want it out for Chirstmas). Apparantly Rockstar are also promising that the PC version will include "expanded multiplayer", but are currently giving no further details.

So, who else has been holding out for GTA IV's PC release, and is going to buy it now? Do you already have it on console? Do you even care? I for one am going to be buying it when it comes out, as I've heard good things about the game from friends who have it on PS3, and I've enjoyed the other games in the series.

The first thing I need, is a new PC. This one can't even hold Gears of War, let alone GTA4

But if I had a new one - yes, I would drop anything (even babies), and ran to the shop, to get it.

Saints Row 2 for PC looks more up my alley than GTA 4. I had it on console before I sold it, wasn't as great as the hype put it up to.

I'm not that much of a graphics whore. Sure, I may give a bit of graphical polygon behind the alley late at night, but I am NOT a graphics whore.

As such, I really don't feel the need to get it for PC as well.

i ran COD4 on my pc smoothly and when i heard that GTA4 was coming out on pc i was genuinely excited but im not sure whether it would hold up on my pc and if i can get GTA4 on pc without the need of buying a ps3 or xbox then all the better

Well, it was obvious it was coming to the PC, so I'm not surprised in the least.

Seeing how badly the multiplayer portion of GTA4 works on console (just no fun at all), I don't really see any point to getting the PC version...yet, anyway. At least before some mods come rolling in and then I can get the game for bargain bin price.

Considering that from my position in England, the GTA4 online for the 360 sucked a big fat pile of man scrotum, I'm looking forward to seeing it for the PC. Not to mention I've heard very good things about what the mod community did for SA for the PC. It'd be nice to see the same kinda thing done for GTA4. I'm interested, but I'll likely have to wait a while. GTA4 for the 360 is still fresh in my mind and I don't wanna play it again so soon.
