I like getting the Moped and doing stunts on the half-pipe, which works well.
I'll have to try that out. I'm still looking for new ways to hurt Niko. And I also like how everyone else is talking about the story, voice acting and that, we're just chatting about how we've found ways to dick about.

I played it and finished it. It was a pretty fun game, the characters were amusing and the story was'nt bad but I never really enjoyed the GTA series that much.

Couldn't stand the driving, too frustrating.

GTA Vice City will always be my favorite. Sports cars everywhere

True, I've never played a GTA for the story. Although I can vaguely remember I got kinda hooked into San Andreas story. Then I found the hover-craft. :D

It's a really weird game for me to talk about because in all honesty it's not very fun to play. The mechanics are stiff, everything from driving to shooting to walking, and the social system sound like a great idea on paper but you end up having to sink way too much time into it. If you're just looking for something to PLAY, look somewhere else.

And yet it's still one of my favorite games of all time.

The storytelling is in a class all it's own. The writing is strong, frequently jumping back and forth between hilariously ridiculous and appropriately dramatic and doing both excellently. The characters are all unique and fascinating to watch play out their lives, and the superb voice-acting gives them all an air of believability and humanity.

On top of that, Liberty City is incredibly detailed for such a large location, and with no loading screens and few borders it ends up feeling like one of the most convincing locations ever featured in a game.

So if you're just looking for a good time, I'd say try Saint's Row 2. It's way crazier. But if you're after a deeper, more atmospheric experience, GTA IV is probably one of the best titles you're going to find.

I played 54 hours and I quite liked it.
I need to play it with a friend again really...

Though I must say...I totally hated the heli's.

I thought the story was very well done. There were quite a few moments of pure disbelief but still, it's a fun game for sure.

I played it. It's fun, but I could never finish it, the story hits a slump about a third of the way through and just never gets out.

I finished the game and I played Multiplayer for a bit. Yup, I played it and I thought it was completely overrated.

It's an OK game, nothing more, nothing less.

And for the record, I completed the last mission in 5 or 6 tries. Very frustrating, but nothing serious once you get the hang of it.

It takes a while to get used to the steering for me but I got real good and driving and flying helicopters XD

In multiplayer I was always the chopper guy.
Hehe, try playing it again for the first time in a year. "Ah, this will be easy, you never forget stuff like this. ...OH GOD! *Crashing through everything that can move*" XD And I'm good at flying the helicopters. I'm flying under bridges like a pro. XD

Plus it's always fun to get into the attack chopper on top of Algonquin's police station then introducing the cops there to the rotor blades... XD
I always tried skydiving and seeing what I could hit on the way down >:D
I'd always take Carmen out in a helicopter. I'd fly up with a skyscraper on my side and jump out, landing safely but sending the chopper and Carmen crashing.

I played it for as long as I could until I gave up on how boring it was...-_-

Rockstar just does not know how to make gameplay that's fun. So they pad their games out with so much worthless mini-games enough to make your head spin, or think you're playing a better game...>>

RDR was a large step forward, but too easy for my taste.

I've never felt inclined to try it. I gave GTA3 a try and it was one of the most boring, awful games I've ever played. I've never felt like playing another one since.

It was the first GTA that I actually enjoyed. Apparently all it took for me to enjoy the game was giving me the ability aim by myself.
