What did everyone who watched it think? As a fan of his, I found it extremely disappointing to say the least. I didn't expect it to be that good, considering he'll be 60 in September, but I was hoping for something a little better than what I heard. I really think they need to start going in a different direction (preferably younger) when picking the acts. To cut verses from 'Born to Run' b.c you cant play it anymore is absolutely unforgivable in my opinion.

I left the room a few minutes in to kill time fixing a drink...was doing nothing for me.
So I guess you vote "Eh".

They have to go with a viewer friendly act.

Personally, I would kill for: Metallica, Nine inch nails, the who, and others for a half-time performance. >.>

I played my friends copy of madden 09 ( and he has them all from 2000) and destroyed the cardinals 70-14 ( he also sucks at the games)

Honestly i changed the channel to watch WIPEOUT! where a bunch of people act like asses and jump on big bouncy balls and fall into water and mud. Pretty funny stuff.

Metallica would be awesome! Unfortunately, their never gonna take another risk again thanks to the whole Janet Jackson thing...

Bruce Springsteen has never had a particularly great voice, and the fact that he has gotten older has only made it worse.

They had Journey there playing before the game, why couldn't they get them to play?
Journey has just gotten a new singer, and while he is not Steve Perry, I find that he is a welcome substitute, and he is very good, in my opinion.

It was OK for me. Then again, I'm old, so I've been a Springsteen fan for a while. I don't think I would've enjoyed it as much if it hadn't been the original E-Street Band.

I love his voice from the studio albums and even from his Live collection (1975-85), but I will agree that it has gotten MUCH worse over time. I never cared for Journey myself.

I thought his performance was nothing short of terrible.
I hate his music and his voice anyway, but honestly I think it's about time for him to just stop.

I flipped over to Discovery Channel to watch an hour of Destroyed in Seconds. I'm never interested in the halftime show.
